It's my fault for steering it to this point and I wish I wasn't a pedantic retard. It is more similar to real life anatomy but not quite and sure as hell isn't more accurate to real life) Let's face it isn't. (because KK isn't but still somewhat has a similar framework and the original poster asked if HS2 is good for posing and you brought up KK. Look I've said what I need to say and I think we both misunderstood each other and I will eat my goddamn words, I was nitpicking on your use of "more accurately" within the context of it being very close to real-life anatomy. What is actually wrong then, it could be the lighting, textures, shader, normals, who the fuck knows. You can point things that you think it's obvious like "oh, the nose should be slimmer" but then the modder can just show wireframe comparison in blender to show that no, that's the way it is originally. Saying something like "it looks off" is pretty fucking vague and even if you can convey it with words it's still not easy to pinpoint what is wrong. Roy himself might think it's fine, but other people, naturally, can disagree. But the thing is, it's a subjective matter. So many things can be lost or damaged during porting process, and it's up to the modders' touch to make finished mod as close as possible to the real thing.

And they're pretty much raw material since more often than not it's the game engine that do bulk of the work to make the characters look the way they do in their game (post-processing etc).

Having it to work in Illusion games is a miracle on itself, but we also must consider that the one got ported are just meshes and textures extracted from the game. Well, you see, head modding is tricky business.
